You don't even have to do that, you can select 'No relay'.

Yes, make sure you *don't* have "Disable SMTP AUTH reporting" enabled.

The advantage is theres a greater probability that the person on the other
end of the wire is a valid user of your services. If nothing else you'll know
which bozo picked 'password' as their password :-)
