Ron, why not just configure [EMAIL PROTECTED]'s forwarding as:
        .,[EMAIL PROTECTED]

That will leave a copy of the incoming mail in user1's mailbox and
also forward a copy to user2. The hoops involved in the Ipswitch
article you mentioned are only there to keep the interception hidden
from the user.
