I have to disagree with you. AOL has made a policy choice, and you have
chosen an ISP that won't let you change your rDNS. You should complain to
your ISP, and not to AOL. When I picked an ISP (www.speakeasy.net) I made
sure they let me modify rDNS. The fact is that the policy AOL has adopted
stops millions of spam emails, and yes.. Maybe they are forcing you to
change your rDNS but if you want to come in my house you have to take your
shoes off. It's fine you don't want to take your shoes off, but that is your
choice and you don't have to talk to the 20 million people in my house. It's
your choice. If you are willing to take your shoes off so you don't bring
mud in my house then you are free to come and go as you like and talk to
whomever.
