Duane,

Yeah i have tried with only one word like "test" to a few hundered
words loaded into it. the logfiles show phrase filtering is enabled.
they had me turn on verbose loggin and stop and restart the smtp and
queu manager, then the spamlog showed phrase filtering enabeld on
domainX they said that means it is working.

have you tried to set it to delete instead of just insert xheadder.
delete did not work for me either.

rember to turn off verbose logging it makes a big file.

i would really like to get it working i think it will work for me far
better that just the rules.ima

Hi Rhett,

win2k all patches
1x 1GB proc
2x 18gb drives mirrored
512MB RAM

I setup "fluffernutter" as a phrase for testing. I've sent emails
from
yahoo, hotmail and a half dozen other email accounts to my accounts
and nothing seems to help.

Filtering

Duane,

I have the same problem the x headder will not show up. i have
rebooted and stopped and started things etc.. i hope to get a fix
back from eric at ipswitch soon.

what kind of hardware are you using just curious to see if it is the
same as mine.

note: the phrase only works in the message body not the subject line.

dual cpu
512mb ram
a system disk
a spool disk
a mailbox raid disk
windows 2000 server latest patches.

I set up a couple of phrases and explicitly sent emails from another
account loaded with the phrases and I didn't see any of the headers
show up in my email. I have enabled phrase filtering but left
statistical off.

Duane
