Even if you stick with the situation as-is, I wouldn't worry about being accused of spamming just because you send bounce messages on so-called "Joe Jobs" (where real, but uninvolved, senders' addresses are used by spammers). In some cases, such bounces can help inform the recipient about the impersonation and allow them to pursue actions to shut down the Joe Jobbers' use of their address. However, the bounces can consume a lot of gateway resources;, depending on your volume; in a more ideal setup, you'd be running anti-spam services on the gateway itself, and messages determined to be spam would never be bounced at all. > How to prevent the "unknown user" sending? If you wanted to kill all User unknown: messages (though including those to involved and legitimate senders) you could use an Outbound Rule.
