I had the same problem on rare occasion with my DirecPC (one-way) at home. I set it to do both POP3 and SMTP (SMTP had to be, actually) through the terrestrial connection unless I had large emails then I would set it back to the satellite for downloading mail. It worked more often than not. I've got DiRECWAY at home now and expect such problems occasionally. I have had to disable my email antivirus outgoing but not incoming.
However, my customers on dialup, wireless, even ethernet in the same building as our NOC, shouldn't have such errors so frequently--and it's a new problem. ~Katie -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rick Leske Sent: Wednesday, June 18, 2003 11:07 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] POP errors Also.. Katie FWIW.. I use satellite at my SOHO and have to disable my local email antivirus or I will get the exact same errors you are. My problem stems from high latency 'fat' pipe delays via satellite connection (or possibly imails' code is deleting each email in succession - rather than at the end of the trans). hth, ~Rick > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Katie La > Salle-Lowery > Sent: Wednesday, June 18, 2003 11:52 AM - FamHost > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] POP errors > > > Yes, I searched the Knowledge base for the various error messages the > clients present.
