I have a co-worker complaining about failed delivery of important email sent to a group of about 10 in-house managers. He has been exchanging mail with them on one topic using standard "Reply to All". He says an important meeting will be disrupted or cancelled because of this email problem. He gave me the exact mailing time and the subject line. He also said he tried to send a second time today and delivery failed again (silently). I looked in the logs and found normal entries where his Outlook checks the server for mail at regular intervals, but no large mailing. There is also nothing like this in our spam filters. (This happened once before about a week ago, but in that case I did find a record of the group mailing being successfully delivered, but was unable to explain why the managers would not have received the message within a normal time frame.) Not only is he frustrated, but he has suggested to some upper managers that our mail server may be broken. Of course if it was, I'd have more than just one person with this problem. This user is an experienced email user and has not received any error messages. We're running IMail 8 on NT4 with all current service packs, patches, etc. Any tips on what might be happening to his group mail?
