I assume the OS, as all Imail services were off (tho queue manager was
active in the process list and could not be killed). How would you tell?

Primarily .smd files

So you can simply move the previously queued files from the old
directory into the new directory and they should be processed?

Yes, it's erroneous, unverified, and a couple years old. I don't even
want to get into what I think of many of the "blacklists"...
