[IMail Forum] Imail + Declude AV + PostFix Gateway

Hi there     well, we currently own Declude AV solution, with Imail V 7.15 and we are planning to do some changes.   Basically, our server is getting a very high CPU ussage and is cause AV processes, and i've changed from Mcafee to f-prot, wich off-loaded the server a bit (Truly, i think the server has too much things to do for a single processor), but the issue is this. I plann to install a post-fix server for delivering the SMTP Emails from our Imail server, and configurate the Imail to formard all email to a gateway, so the question is:   1 Will Declude still scan the messages? 2 If so, when a message is Virus Positive, will Imail still forward the email to the gateway pf server? 3 In your opinion, is this a good alternative?   The idea is to have the PostFix server as a SMTP Gateway only for Imail, our users will have to send the mails to imail, and imail to the postftix.   As i see it, Imail still manages the Relay Rules, SMTP Auth, Etc, cause the PostFix server will only relay from Imails Server IP, so Internet delivery process wont consume resources and time at the imail server.   Is this scheme good?, any suggestions?     Thanks!     Sergio Rinc�n Jaramillo HostMaster GeoNet S.A.   TEL (574) 5104701  Fax (574) 2350160 L�nea �nica de Atenci�n al Cliente 3500111 Calle 34B N� 66� 42, Medell�n, Colombia   Ya visit� nuestro sitio www.geo.net.co   Las opiniones que se expresan en este e-mail son personales y no necesariamente coinciden con las de GeoNet S.A.
