I run 3 postfix gateways in front of the IMail box. 1 and 2 are just redundant MX boxes 1 taking all the mail and delivering unless it is down and then 2 takes over...sending email and all mail coming from IMail is sent to 2 to kind of split the load on the boxes...In addition, I have a 3rd postfix box that does virus scanning only (Central Command). This type of solution will scale very large and you can use IMGate if you are not familiar with setting this type of solution up.
