Jason, I basically agree with you (as well as your recent call to stop this thread but...) Remember my early posting saying that the short answer was "no"? I then offered a *one-time* fix, namely moving from POP3 to IMAP4, which would solve his problem without requiring end users to twiddle Outlook rules. But the poster stated again that even a one-time switch was not an option, much less -- I surmise -- daily playing with Outlook rules.
I think that we all know what the options are (and aren't) and I trust that RMilner has enough information to go ahead with whatever he decides is best for his users. (Note that I said "his users" since moving from POP3 to IMAP4 will impose greater strain on server resources than staying with POP3, perhaps a point that he is well aware of.) Tentative end of thread ;) Guy ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jason Newland" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, July 26, 2003 21:17 Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] IMail Rule for Attachment Size > Wasn't that his suggested solution to the long waiting periods of people > "on the go" downloading the "occasional" large message?
