The bios reports the dual XEON processors as four separate virtual CPUs. The OS sees the 4 CPUs and knows nothing about the hyperthreading (WIN2K anyway). Imails load on each virtual CPU is controlled by the OS.
Imail does not attempt to target specific processors. Packages that do target specific processors can actually have decreased performance.
