It's not only possible to mark certain virus/worm names as forging the sender address, but it's also possible to prevent notifications for certain virus/worm names. All this is very flexible and configurable independently for incoming and outgoing infected- and alert-messages. For example we know that the following viri are forging the senders address: Magistr Klez Yaha Lentin Bridex Bugbear SoBig Fizzer Palyh MiMail We does not send virus warnings back to the sender if the virus name is one from the list above because it serves nothing then creating a false alarm. However the recipient (our customer) recieves the warning because he was successfully protected from a virus.
