I  can't  agree  with  this  advice at all. I've configured IMail ODBC
hundreds  of times, and *never* would resorting to this step have been
helpful.  Further,  installing  SQL  on  the  local  machine  will  be
detrimental to performance without additional resources and associated
tweaks, and there's no reason to work with a handicapped system during
testing if not actually necessary.
