That is a large number of emails. I know IMail listserv is not really designed for such volume or may be it is and I don't see it...
I managed an open-source list server for many months that send 125K msgs of 30KB each every day. The delivery was 30 to 60K msgs/hour. In 4 hours, all that was readily deliverable was delivered, including 50K to AOL.
100K isn't very many. 1 million is gettting to be "many".
Given the right platform and bandwidth, list serving is not a hard job.
Managing a database of 100K records is more is a different issue.
