You must remember a message is comprised of 2 files..IN order for it to be listed and processed there must be 2 files, one starting withe a "Q" (the enveope) and the other with a "D" (the body)..YOu probably are missing the "Q" files for some reason...

Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] MyServer does not send or receive???

Hi All,
Thank you all for your cooperation. My server is running now, but I still have a big problem which is: The files I have cut and pasted out of the spool directory didn't not appear in the waiting items from the administrator web interface when I restored them back in the spool directory after solving the problem !!!!
What I know is that when I have a file in the spool directory (and this file is for a messages e.g. *.smd or *.gsc and so on) should appear in the waiting items in the administrator web interface untill it be sent and then it's deleted from the spool directory and therefor disappear from the waiting items list. But why this did not happen???
By idea, these messages are for local domain and non local domains, that ther are not bound to servers that are down.

Thanks in davance

Could they be messages bound for servers that are down or having
trouble? There is some kind of trouble with Hotmail going on. I don't
know if it is just AOL -> Hotmail. I have heard various reports.
Messages would be in the queue if they can't get to their destination.
The server will keep trying those based on whatever retry settings your
server has for the SMTP service.
