These kinds of send-only servers are also violating RFCs because they fail
"sender address verification" (they reject bounce msgs for non-deliveries)
and their IPs need to be whitelisted.
Even if they don't ever look at inbound mail ( drop it in blackhole ), they
should all accept inbound mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED], so SAV works.
It's really inexecusable that these jerks, mostly corporate servers with
supposedly "professional" mail admins, setup their "critical" envelope
senders to reject inbound. One would think these admins would setup their
mail servers with "best practices" to have the best chance of successful
mail delivery, but no, they've screwed up badly, and screw up their
$$$clients.
and guess who takes it in the shorts when SAV fails? the innocent
destination mail admins, not the perpetrators.

... was expedia really permanently blacklisted or just failing sender

btw, all you Imail admins with webservers (or with Imail clients with
webservers) that send mail, MUST have any emailing web apps use a
MAIL FROM: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
... that accepts mail, or you will be blocked by SAV.
crap like nobody@ and apache@ or iis@ or web@ is asking for non-delivery.
eg, expedia should use something readable like
FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
... where that email address is accepted at the MX for expedia.com.
