You may want to try SSL certs from freeSSL.com, they have certs for $35, or
you could buy a wildcard cert for $149(i believe) and use
*.webmail.hostdomain.com
and use seperate subdomains for each host,
domain1.webmail.hostdomain.com
domain2.webmail.hostdomain.com
domain3.webmail.hostdomain.com
domain4.webmail.hostdomain.com

Most current browsers support wildcard certs, and you can expand to as many
subdomains on the same cert with no addtional cost.
