Len asked me if my Imail server was rejecting or refusing mail from my gateway servers. What should I look for in my IMail server log that says "mail refused from gateway1"? Or something like this Imail server is to busy please wait?
Imail quits listening/can't answer on port 25/TCP, so sending MTAs connecting to port 25 see/report "TCP connection refused".
This is not an SMTP msg of "4xx come back later".
