I agree...it would have to be the server that was infected...the other SMTP
service would have to be running on the IMail server in order to interrupt
it and cause SMTP for Imail to fail.

This isn't an issue, unless the IMail server is infected.  If the IMail
server is not infected, then no virus can load an SMTP server onto it, so
no damage can be done as a result.
