You must inspect/provide your IMail logs. Chances are, though, that
they will not show any evidence of a connection from your dial-up
machine(s), since many ISPs are blocking outgoing SMTP to any servers
but their own. If this is the case, you will need to run an additional
SMTP server on a non-traditional port, or use a port forwarder to
reroute requests on, say, TCP 26 to TCP 25 on your IMail server.

You should NOT, repeat NOT, be refusing null senders. Many mail
servers, including ones we deploy, will happily blacklist you for this
offense.
