He said he verified he only has one server listed BUT Eric might be on to
something.

Per previous posts on the issue that "stuck" in my head because of the
absurdity of the fix.

Stop SMTP -- Delete the DNS IP from the SMTP service tab -- click APPLY --
TYPE the DNS server address back in (do NOT cut/paste) -- click APPLY --
start SMTP. 

I'm not searching the archives, this is from memory of a recent set of
posts. DNS issues tend to stick because I had two DNS servers listed and
when one died IMail 'barfed' and caused me a few hours of panic.
