I hate to say it, but a truly blank E-mail can't contain a virus. This
requires hand-holding of the user, to find out whether the E-mail is truly
blank or not, whether it has headers, etc.

Alternatively, you can check your IMail SMTP log file entries (or the virus
scanner log file entries, if appropriate) to see how big the E-mail was
when it was received (the IMail SMTP or SMTP- lines with "ldeliver" on them
have a number at the end of the line that indicates the file size; the
SMTPD line that has the queue file name also has the file size at the end
of the line). That won't help quite as much, but can help determine
whether or not a virus was present (if it is 2K or less, it's nearly
impossible that there was a virus).
