Just curious Scott, I took a peek at my smtp logs and they don't look that
different...

03:31 10:03 SMTP-(06C013A6) Trying quoizel.com (0)
03:31 10:03 SMTP-(06C013A6) Connect quoizel.com [140.174.2.211:25] (1)
03:31 10:03 SMTP-(06C013A6) 220 server-12.tower-43.messagelabs.com ESMTP

I just checked the dns records for Mindspring and saw that the IP you quoted
was in fact not in the MX records, is that how you figured it out?

Apologies if the answer is blatantly obvious, some fool brewed a pot of
decaf in the hi-test pot this morning, I'm still recovering.

Thanks,
Sam

It's on your end, unfortunately. IMail is incorrectly connecting to the A
record, rather than the MX record. This was common in older 7.X and below
versions of IMail, but is very rare on IMail v8. If you have more than one
DNS server listed in your IMail SMTP settings, you should remove an extra
ones, and only leave in the most reliable one.
