Apologies if the answer is blatantly obvious, some fool brewed a pot of decaf in the hi-test pot this morning, I'm still recovering. IMail is incorrectly connecting to the A record, rather than the MX record. This was common in older 7.X and below versions of IMail, but is very rare on IMail v8.
