Are you using IMAP? This is how I had discovered the fix that HF2 fixed. The same thing was happening to me. If you look at the logs does it show an error trying to deliver the message because the main.mbx file is locked? If so, install HF2. If you laready have....couldn't tell ya other than look at the logs for your answer.
