Jim,

I have had a similar issue from it's inception, however my problem is
that the smtpd32 service shows as running normally but I need to
frequently restart it or my users do not get mail from the outside world
though internal mail seems fine. I have yet to resolve it or even
attribute the problem to imail or my proxy server which forwards mail to
imail which is behind the firewall. I am now setting up a backup mail
server using sendmail on a linux box so that my users do not have
frequent drops in mail receipts. My next step will be to run only the
sendmail box for an extended period to see if the problem persists and
if it does I will know that the proxy server is the problem.
