No, they're still fighting over an effective sender rewriting scheme. Personally, as a first step I'd rather see something along the lines of Marking MTAs in Reverse DNS http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-stumpf-dns-mtamark-01.txt It has none of the emotional and technical baggage about forwarding issues. It simply answers one question, is this IP address permitted to act as an MTA. It's a simple test that would eliminate the vast majority of hijacked machines and throwaway DSL accounts. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] "The avalanche has already started, it is too Rod Dorman late for the pebbles to vote." Ambassador Kosh To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
