WHEW! ok all done on all my DNS zones. Came across something else in the process. I
have additional hostnames like
SHOP.clevertech.net and SERVICE.clevertech.net which never generate mail (it's all
going out as clevertech.net) - do these need
additional entries like this:

shop TXT v=spf1 -all
service TXT v=spf1 -all

plus I have other things like ftp. etc. on a few client domains...

Chris

Those are the best type of domains to set up SPF records for -- you don't
have to worry that somehow someone somewhere will send legitimate E-mail
that will fail SPF. In this case you can just set up an SPF record of
"v=spf1 -all", to say that any E-mail coming from those domains is not
legitimate.
