Some firewalls have a max message size as well. Take a look at that. You can
change Imail all day long but if the fw does not permit it then it won't go
through.

I am not shure, but MIME-Encoding for mailing an attachmed blows a file up -
so it will be much larger in the email than on your hdd...
I assume that your 7MB file is 12MB if it is encoded for mail transfer... 
But rising the limit will produce problems, because many malboxes are only
10MB larg and many Mail servers vill reject larger mails...
