The message was very clear. Quit guessing.
The PTR hostname either
1) was not found or
2) was found, but had no matching A record.
Forget about HELO hostname or SMTP greeting hostname or virtual Imail domains when trying the fix this error, which could be a DNS failure on their end, not yours, as Sandy said.
