There are actually two issues here: 1. Potential removal of this list, which everyone who has responded so far indicates they are against.
2. Dilution of the effectiveness of this list by creation of a separate support vehicle. As Marc pointed out, this can effectively kill a list. So, while I hate all of the me_toos, pings, out of office replies, etc. that sometimes occur on this list, I don't believe this is one of them. This is essentially a vote by the community to tell IPSwitch that we want the list to remain and are concerned about the effect that multiple support channels might have on this list. If we don't speak up in force, we could lose a very valuable resource. Is Ipswitch talking about killing THIS list and using these forums instead OR are the forums just another addition? I dont think we need a me_too thing here I imagine everyone is in favor of keeping this list or they wouldnt be on it :) Bryan To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
