Yep ineffecient, but every release is a leap ahead of the previous one. I would guess the businesses that are using it are using it because it is part of their NAV subscription.
For us it adds redundant gatways and AV scanning at no additional cost from our desktop scanning and the corporate desktop management and deployment is by far the best we have tested.
