> IMail->VirtualHosts->DomainName->Lists-ListName->trailer.txt
Kim, If I am read your convention correctly, the path is wrong. Should be: \imail\virtualhosts\domain\lists\listname\trailer.txt This assumes you created the "virtualhosts" folder and that the top directory settings for the host in question, points to that path. Normally, the path would be more like: \imail\domainname\lists\listname or if in the primary domain: \imail\lists\listname. Try creating the file using IMail Administrator (it will bring up Notepad) and trailer.txt should end up in the path I showed (if not, better double check the domains "Top Directory" setting). My guess is that the web cannot create the file (maybe permissions as others indicate, but web likely will be able to at least read/modify it), but IAdmin should be able to create it and put it in the right place. If that is true, only then might you be able to manipulate via web interface. But, if I try to modify the contents, I get the error message, and the contents are not saved (the original, manually created contents remain, however). > > Kim > > > > > To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html > List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ > Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ > To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
