There's  no reason for the mailbox server to relay for a remote server
that  is  only  submitting  messages for local delivery. It's only the
_store-and-forward  server_  that  needs  to relay for (interpreted by
IMail as relay _to_) the address of the mailbox server.

If  you're  setting  up  a  backup server (rather than protecting your
