Title: Getting facts on this straight before speaking to boss
I like IMail too.  No... I love Imail.  I've recommended Imail to numerous people, and know for a fact that 3 of them purchased Imail on my word.  While there is no reward for being loyal, over time I've switched all of my possible FTP servers and clients to the WS_FTP line.

Ipswitch can now offer IMail for free... it won't make a difference to me.

To say one thing and do another, with no warning... that's just a poor way to treat a customer, big or small.  I am sure my measly little Imail license and small handful of WS_FTP/WS_FTP Server licensees do not qualify me as a big customer, therefore... quite obviously, expendable in pursuit if bigger and better things.

Ipswitch can back peddle now all they want.  Their point was made Monday.

I wish them the best of luck, I think they're going to need it.

I like IMail.  I would like to keep using it.  But as I have said, there is

no way I can justify the cost to be forced to use your antivirus, when I

have my own solution that costs more than 10x less per year.
