I was going to leave this alone, but after I read some posts after this one. I wouldn't upgrade your current Imail version just yet, until I could feel somewhat satisfied things will be the back to the way they were or very close to it and somehow I doubt that happening!
I would instead recommend adding Declude or MXGuard to what you have already if you need this today. Those who represent those products sound willing to adapt to this changing market so your chances of a more logical future upgrade paths are much greater IMHO. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, October 30, 2004 10:09 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [IMail Forum] Worth upgrading? Just joined the list yesterday. I did look at the archives and I see that many people are thinking about moving away from iMail. I am currently running iMail 7.15 does it make sense for me to upgrade to the latest version 8.0? Ipswitch is no longer selling this version but CDW still has it on their website. The reason I'm asking is because we've got huge spam problems and a very small budget. Any suggestions? Should I just get declude? Are there any significant differences between version 8 and 7.15? Any other alternatives?
