My guess is that many of us are thinking them not making a profit is not our
fault and that we shouldn't need to pay the price for their own internal
issues. Often when John Q. Public is already feeling like they are getting
the short end of the stick, the way to get more money from them is offer
them something better, then ask more money for it. However it first needs to
be better before the average person will pay more for it.

If they can't afford their operation costs now, where to you think the 40%
increased cost will be going? It surely will not go for better tech support,
or more programmers to provide needed updates faster. The only question now
is are we too lazy to do the work it takes to move on, or do we take the
easy way and try to feed what could be a sinking company? If $495 is not
enough money to get what we were getting (downloading), that problem is
clearly not ours, there are internal issues or management thinks they need a
raise.

What is the issue here folks, I understand they made a mistake they also
admitted that they made a mistake. They told you that they were hurting
financially and they could no longer afford to offer the SA at the current
price. They heard your cry and they adjusted the plan to make sure you
concerns were addressed. I will be renewing and paying the difference, and
would like to extend my thanks to IpSwitch for listening to the customer
base, and would hope in the future they would look to the base before making
major decisions that would directly affect them. I realize that sometimes we
all make decisions that we regret making and must try to adjust to make up
for those decisions. If a company isn't making money then it cant survive
you guys should know this by now. Let's ease up a little on them, accept the
fact that they need to make profit to survive. That is my $.02 only and I
realize that many will not want to hear it.
