Title: Imail User cannot connect to incoming mail server in Outlook 2002: port or SSL error

Hello All,

I'm stumped on this one. I've got a client using Outlook 2002 on a Dell Insperon laptop with a wireless card. He's configured his email account correctly with his Imail account (I've walked him through it myself, using my account as the template) but he gets the following error when he clicks "Test Account Settings":

"Error: find incoming mail server (POP3) Outlook could not connect to the incoming mail server. The problem could be the server name or port, or your server  may not support SSL. Verify your port and SSL settings in More Settings under the Advanced tab."

Now, I've confirmed that the Windows XP firewall is disabled and he does have internet access as his Web Messaging access works perfectly. I have no idea as to why he's being blocked. The ports are set correctly and SSL is turned off as we don't use SSL. He does have SMTP Authentication turned on, although the error he gets has nothing to do with it.

Has anyone seen this before? The only other thing I can think of is that they use an Airport Extreme wireless network solution on their cable modem. The other user in their office can connect just fine using Outlook but this new user with his new laptop cannot. Both users are using Windows systems.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated here. Thanks!!!
