I can't remember what is was I found that I didn't like with it on 2003.
Perhaps like you mentioned, maybe just because it said it wasn't supported?

I just finished a new build of 2003 Enterprise Edition and it works fine. I
can also see it using remote desktop.

BkackIce has two ways of functioning. First and the only thing many people
use is the firewall feature with IDS, The second will make note of all
existing programs and turn on protection that will now allow them to be
modified without your approval.

Chanced are the firewall part of it will work fine with Win 2003, but the
rest will lose some functionality, that is why they say it's incompatible.

Also, I think I tried it once and had some sort of problem with it, like
maybe not being able to see it from Terminal Server or something.

Their web site makes no mention of Windows 2003 being a supported
platform:

Whereas, their other products make full note that they are Windows 2003
compliant / supported:

ector_server.php

Sure it is. I upgraded a mail server to windows 2003 server last week and
blackice server edition is working fine. Why do you say it is not
compatible?
