I can't remember what is was I found that I didn't like with it on 2003. Perhaps like you mentioned, maybe just because it said it wasn't supported?

First and the only thing many people use is the firewall feature with IDS, The second will make note of all existing programs and turn on protection that will now allow them to be modified without your approval. Chanced are the firewall part of it will work fine with Win 2003, but the rest will lose some functionality, that is why they say it's incompatible. Also, I think I tried it once and had some sort of problem with it, like maybe not being able to see it from Terminal Server or something. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jay Sudowski - Handy Networks, LLC Sent: Thursday, November 18, 2004 9:51 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Blackice Their web site makes no mention of Windows 2003 being a supported platform: http://www.digitalriver.com/dr/v2/ec_MAIN.Entry10?V1=313036&PN=1&SP=1002 3&xid=26412&CID=0&DSP=&CUR=840&PGRP=0&CACHE_ID=0 Whereas, their other products make full note that they are Windows 2003 compliant / supported: http://www.iss.net/products_services/enterprise_protection/rsserver/prot ector_server.php -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Cycle Rider Sent: Thursday, November 18, 2004 12:03 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Blackice >Note that BlackICE is not compatible with Windows 2003 Server.
