Generally, there is no such thing as an invitation to a discussion.
Those individuals who are interested in seeing something happen invite
themselves.

The danger is in volunteering to do work -- or in being volunteered.

I believe that you have volunteered to write a document to describe LIST
hierarchy semantics that a client may encounter.  :-)
