Yes, and I pretty much wrote to the author the same thing that you did.
From the abstract:
This document describes a new option for Email related configuration information in Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), the option for Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) Server addresses for message retrieval from mailboxes on these servers.
This seems wrong to me. IMAP servers are tied to people, not hosts. If I visit your site, I want don't want my IMAP client to suddenly try to connect to your site's IMAP servers.
I don't recall seeing any discussion about this on any of the lists. Anyone know what prompted it?
