No.

Two points:
    - the improve-rev list is for bug reports (and feature suggestions); so
that's all you're going to read here
    - almost all the stability issues relate to the IDE; delivered apps are
very stable

HyperCard has, alas, no future. Revolution has a bright future; supports
many things that HC doesn't support well or at all; is genuinely
multi-platform. I've been (and remain) a huge fan of HyperCard for over a
decade. Revolution is definitely the right place to move on to. I've
developed, delivered (and been paid for) substantial pieces of work in
Revolution. I've encountered annoying problems, but nothing that has
stopped me dead (a few things I still can't do, but I wouldn't even have
been able to get to the place where that was a problem, on HC). I've yet to
come across any significant issues where HyperCard could do something that
Revolution couldn't; many many instances of the reverse, and even larger
number of cases where things work better in Rev than in HC.

For a quick hack, it might be sensible to use HyperCard (I still do
sometimes). But if you're planning to invest significant time in this
project, I'd advise putting that investment into Revolution.

BTW, my own suggestion would be to stick with 1.0 at this point, unless you
need 1.1 features such as AppleScript support or db access. (I know Kevin
would disagree.) There are just enough niggly things in 1.1, no doubt to be
fixed in 1.1.1, which will trip you up.

A question for Kevin: if someone buys a license now, presumably a license
for 1.1, can they use it (legally and technically) to unlock the 1.0 starter
kit?
