Ian, yes, but as Ken is spot-on in pointing out what if no field has 
the keyboard focus?
See the next email for a recipe for a frequent freeze in these 
circumstances in Revolution - which is what gave rise to my email in 
the first place.  I'm separating it out to catch the Rev team's eye.

I agree it wouldn't always be necessary, but that is a minor point 
compared with someone having no idea how to get it working when they 
do wish to program it completely.

I would also like to say that my email was not intended for a moment 
to be an attack on the docs - just a suggestion.  (I was and am a 
proud possessor of  Hypercard 2.0 The Book, and a Jeanne Devotee.)
