I do that, too, but it's not good enough. Occassionally, SMPTRCV will just
go catatonic - still running, but not receiving mail. So you have to kill it
periodically and restart it (because there is no way to tell if it has gone
catatonic - at least without writing a program to see if you can send it
mail...) Since I'm running in Win2K, I only restart it once per day -- just
often enough to insure mail flows if I'm not around.
