Doesn't the same argument apply to people that have used Solaris for years and want to try out the new thing: "WTF? my old solaris shell scripts don't work? I'm outta here." I don't think you're ever going to make everyone happy. Also, I'm not against having /bin/bash as the default shell for a user. What I am against is making /bin/sh link to /bin/bash.
