Because there isn't one.  The live CD/USB is your failsafe at this point.

If you are uncomfortable with this setup, edit /etc/user_attr and remove 
the "type=role" portion of root's entry and it will revert to being a 
standard account.

There is, pkg,opensolaris.org, but we haven't yet loaded additional 
packages, and unfortunately, we somehow broke the SVR4 packaging system 
in the last couple of days before release, bug 110.  You should see a 
follow-up about this in a few days.

Yes, there were redistribution issues with the Java included in Solaris 
that weren't resolved in time.
