I'm waiting... expectantly, too.
My experience (from java development) is that as fast as Linux is over 
XP, Solaris is even faster than Linux.

I've had a couple of "false" starts with Solaris, OpenSolaris, and 
Nexenta on my 64 bit box...  I know that it (Solaris) can make the 64 
bit thing really sing, but alas, I'm a poor conductor :(

I'm ready to give Indiana a go as the primary OS on the box (as opposed 
to a vm) soon.
