Not sure that's quite true. 2008.05 + 6 months means 2008.11 - ideally  
it probably needs to be marked 'preview' or something similar. The  
intention is to release new updates that people can image-update to  
every 2 weeks as we start working towards a final release in November.  
So you'll see things morph in real time, and have plenty of  
opportunity to participate.

I'd recommend attending (or listening to a recording) of the planning  
meeting this Thursday -
