David, Thanks again for the clarification.

Fair; but is there not an obscure case where someone builds a binary for redistribution that includes an "encumbered" archive library that is part of Studio? Or are all the archive libraries in Sun Studio not encumbered. If this is too obscure, then please ignore. > The new Sun Studio Express which is in the pkg.opensolaris.org > repository *is* redistributable. Brilliant! Many thanks for that - I was wondering what SunStudioExpress was. For those who would like to build opensolaris (the codebase) on OpenSolaris (the distro), does it equate to Studio 11 or Studio 12? Or neither? Just for the purposes of environment config for nightly. Apols if this has been answered before. Thanks and regards... Sean. BTW: is Ceres the internal name for StudioExpress? Just curious... Thanks. _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
