Especially because of sparc where some times ago changing keyboard layouts on the fly was simply impossible, we needed to select some input framework to work on and to add required features. We selected IIIM, well from Chinese perspective probably wrong decision, but one needs to look at it from global perspective and I still believe from that perspective to go with iiim was right approach. > I really believe this issue is very important. Sunray is not an issue for LiveCd, but was considered for selecting default framework. > As a Solaris 10 user, I am fully aware that IIIM has been included in Solaris > for several years. Please feel free anytime to report to bugzilla or bugs.opensolaris.org. There is probably not enough time for 2008.11 release but the next one will come "quite" soon (2009.04) Thanks & Regards, Petr H. > -- > This message posted from opensolaris.org > _______________________________________________ > indiana-discuss mailing list > [email protected] > http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss > -- ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Petr Hruska - Software Engineer - Prague G11n Phone: +420 233 009 330 (x49330) email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Microsystems Czech, s.r.o. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
